AFSA Development Day 2010
The AFSA will be holding its second Development Day on Wednesday 15th September 2010 at the Civic Centre, Barras Bridge, Newcastle on Tyne.
Registration starts at 9.30 am and the day will be based around two key themes: - a Strategic Work Stream (The Equality Act; “New Challenges and Opportunities or a Threat”) and a Personal Development Work Stream of workshops.
The day is aimed at Chief Executives, Strategic Health Authorities, Elected Members , Ambulance Trust, NHS Bodies, Police Authority, Board Members of Public Services, HR professionals in the Public Sector, Members of the Chief Fire Offi cers Association, Local Government Association Members, Support Network Offi cers, and Equality and Diversity Professionals. We hope those AFSA Members who are keen to gain understanding and knowledge on the Act, will attend.

AFSA Annual General Meeting
This will be held on Tuesday 14th September 2010 at the same venue as the Development Day, and is open to AFSA Members, Equality and Diversity Leads, HR Professionals and Support groups in FRS.
